This is an optional setting with curl. If you elect not to have your customers update their information, curl will automatically skip this step.
Updating is recommended, however, since it gives you the most accurate data on your customers.
Updating also allows you to ask for more information that will help you market to each responder. Imagine having an email, phone number, household income, age, marital status, etc., on each prospect or customer.
Notice that the responder is encouraged to update his/her information with the promise of special offers to come.
